Hello friends! I am here again to share with you some images from a recent session. If I am being honest with you, it is one of my most favorite sessions to date! I’m sure you will be able to see why :).
We went to the OPPD Arboretum for this session. If you live in Omaha, you have probably had your photos taken here! It is definitely a hot spot for photographers. There were several other families, a homecoming, and a wedding party taking portraits here at the same time we were. It was a bit of a circus!
Something that was interesting about this session was that it was super cloudy! That means I had to use the opposite side of the park than I was expecting. I actually loved all that we had to work with so much, I might be a bit sad the next time it’s sunny and I have a plan to go there!
There was one tree in the park that was just starting to turn. You can see it really well in the last two pictures! The kids were picking up leaves and throwing them around. Classic, am I right? Omaha is still fairly green, but the colors are slowly turning! The weather is also absolutely gorgeous here in the fall. I am from North Dakota, and they’ve had lots of snow there already!
A great tip I picked up from this sweet family is to bring someone along to play with the kids when they’re not in the frame. It’s so much easier for mom and dad to be in the moment when they’re not checking on the kids all the time! Auntie and Uncle came with for this session! I know it’s not always possible, but if it is, I highly recommend it!
I hope you enjoy the photos!
