Can I tell you a secret? Newborn sessions are actually my favorite. 

Fresh little babies, glowing new mothers and proud new fathers are about the most pure and lovely thing in the world. 

This is such a special time, and babies change so much - so quickly. Almost like trying to hold sand in your fingers.

Newborn sessions are specially designed to be hassle free. You can have your hair and makeup done at the studio, and use a lovely dress from my client closet (see left for an example). 

I know postpartum is it's own whirlwind. You're navigating recovery, breastfeeding, crying babies, lack of sleep - all while trying for one moment to get it together for your photos. 

Here, you don't need to get anything together. I'll take care of it all.

Fully Stocked Client Closet

Your home away from home. I have fruit snacks, water, comfortable places for you to sit and nurse your baby, and more. You'll love it here!

Comfortable Studio

If postpartum hormones and 3AM wakeups are really making you feel like a zombie, consider adding on hair and makeup services to your session. I know some really talented ladies and they'll come right to the studio to make it happen. No judgement here. I've been there!

There's almost no better feeling than putting your shoes on and as you walk out the door, seeing your sweet family portrait on the wall. Trust me, put it on the wall - or in an album - you'll be so happy you did. I'm here to help from design to delivery. oh and PS. I know the best products ☺

First, we will have a quick phone call. We will talk about your vision for your session and your plans for your photos. We will also go over client wardrobe, location, and all the details.

If you'd like an in person consultation, I offer them for free. Or I can send you an online booking link.

To book, you'll need to sign a contract and pay the booking fee.

Session Day! 
The big day is here! You should feel prepared and ready because I really try to offer a lot to help you get ready for this day.

Really, it's not a big deal. You just show up and I'll take it from there! Unless you've chosen to add on hair and makeup. Then
she will take it from there first.

And wow, might I say, you look beautiful. 

Delivery Day!
Truly the best day of the whole process. 
You've been dreaming of that empty spot on the wall being filled with your new favorite family portrait.

You've enjoyed the digital files included in your collection, but they just don't hit quite the same. 

Now it's here! You can either pick up at the studio or I will happily hand deliver to your home. 

The reveal and ordering appointment
AKA when we will go through all the images from your session together. 

Here you decide which ones you love, and what you love so much you want to display it in a giant frame on your wall.

I only make you pay for your favorites, so you will make your final payment here.

The only potential issue with this meeting is they might all be your favorite ;)

Q: When is the best time to schedule newborn photos?

A: Are you pregnant now? Do you want to work with me? Just fill out the form! 

There's really no magic time. Life gets away fast. While you're here, just shoot me over a message!

Just make sure to get them done by someone you love at some point! Newborn photos I personally think you will regret missing out on.

FAQ

Q: How old should my baby be?

A: Any time within the first 6 weeks. I prefer the first 1-2 weeks but that's just a preference of mine.

If your baby is older than 6 weeks, I'm still more than happy to take photos for you! We just won't be able to do some of the more typical newborn posing.

FAQ

Q: What if my baby cries the whole time?

A: I have never rescheduled a newborn session due to this problem. I have had to cut one session short, but we still managed to get a full gallery! And BTW.. crying babies don't bother me. Nor crying siblings.

I have found that as long as we take the time we need, and they can eat, burp, and relax, your baby will be just fine. Most of the session is spent cuddling up with mom and dad anyway :)

Q: What sizes do you have in your client closet?

A: Right now I have sizes ranging from xxs - 3x, The client closet is specifically curated for postpartum moms, to be flattering, comfortable, and in a complementary design to my photography style.
